The three-month induction programme gives participants the opportunity to take part in ATD Fourth World’s projects, working alongside families experiencing long-term poverty in the UK and discovering our approach against poverty.

Participants work and live as a team at the UK National Centre in London. They receive on-going training and support and benefit from ample opportunities to decide if they wish to take a longer-term commitment.

There is no fee for the induction programme, accommodation is provided, and for the second and the third months a small allowance is given.

Once the three-month programme is completed, a one-year minimum commitment is required in order to join a specific project abroad.
