At School
You can help at school by fundraising to raise money
to support our work. Have you ever considered a dance
or music competition? Or if you are stuck for ideas
why not consider one of the fundraising ideas listed!
Choose a date that suits you and try to focus your teaching
and fundraising in that one week. Whenever you choose
to take part or not, you'll be making a difference to
the lives of those living in poverty.
We can also provide speakers to come and talk to students
about the organisation and ATD Fourth Worlds fight to
eradicate poverty.
At University
Whether you are fundraising as a student at university
or as part of a RAG society, there are loads of ways
in which you can support ATD Fourth World in their fight
to eradicate poverty. So have a look at some of our
great ideas for putting the fun into fundraising!
You could organise an event such as a club night, a
party, a concert, a quiz night or even a sponsored cycle
ride to keep you fit!
Through your place of worship / in your community
If your church or other place of worship would like
to support ATD Fourth World this year, please contact
us to see how you can get involved.
At work
A corporate partnership with ATD Fourth World is an
effective way of raising essential funds to support
ATD Fourth World projects, raising funds and awareness
for people across the UK living in extreme poverty.
There are many ways you can support us from donating
the proceeds from dress down days, coffee mornings,
or even coming with your colleagues and helping out
with manual work for the day!
We are here to support you and can provide the necessary
materials to publicise your event.
As an individual
There are hundreds of ways that you can raise money
for ATD Fourth World, e.g. a sponsored cycle ride, a
football match, a car boot sale or even a wine tasting
evening! You could choose to take part in a pre-organised
event such as the Great North Run and collect sponsorship
or organise your own event. We are here to support you
and can provide the necessary materials to publicise
your event.
