Frimhurst Family House has more than 50 years experience of pioneering solution-focused approaches to family and parenting support.

Frimhurst affirms the right of families experiencing poverty to be recognised as a family and to receive support. It promotes the wellbeing of children and parents by providing them with a safe environment where they can develop their self-confidence, learn new skills, practise positive parenting and create happy memories.

It is located in Frimley Green, Surrey in a
peaceful rural setting.

 

Frimhurst Family House is a resource for all those supporting disadvantaged families, providing:

  * family respite stays to suit school holidays
  * day or residential contact for looked after children and their parents
  * ongoing long-term support for families.
 

Frimhurst Family House enables families to:

  * relax, play and enjoy themselves
  * build friendships and develop lasting peer support
  * practise positive parenting
  * learn new skills and build self-esteem
  * interact with other people and develop a positive image of each other
  * strengthen family bonds and create happy memories.
