Set up a standing
order
Regular gifts are extremely valuable.
There is no 'quick fix' solution to the
problems that people living in extreme poverty
face. That is why year-round support is
so important.
A regular gift gives ATD Fourth World a
secure and reliable income, which means
that we can plan long-term projects cost-effectively.
If you would like to set up a standing
order online through your credit, debit
or CAF card, simply click on
Standing Order online. It's quick,
easy and secure.

Leave a gift in
your will
It is easy to include a gift to ATD Fourth
World in your will. If you feel you would
like to proceed, we suggest that in the
first instance you contact your solicitor
who is best placed to give impartial guidance
and will advise you on how to make a legacy
to ATD Fourth World. There is no specific
wording that we require - however, you should
include our charity number: 209367
If you feel you would like to talk your
decision through further or you have any
questions at this stage about supporting
our work with a legacy, please do not hesitate
to contact Matt Davies on 020 7703 3231

Company involvement
Making a company donation is a simple
way to make a lasting difference for those
who need it most. And it can boost employee
morale and improve staff loyalty to your
company. So, why not consider putting ATD
Fourth World forward as your charity of
the year?
12 million people in the UK are living
in poverty and 3½ million of those
are children. Poverty is more than a lack
of money, ATD Fourth World’s work
aknowledges poverty as a multi-dimensional
problem, affecting many areas of people's
lives – from health to housing, education
to employment. ATD Fourth World works with
families living in extreme poverty as well
as policy makers to ensure they understand
the need to tackle poverty holistically.
If you have any queries, please do not
hesitate to contact Matt Davies on 020 7703
3231 or e-mail daviesm@atd-uk.org
Company share giving
Whether you are a shareholder, or an employee
in a company share scheme, share giving
can make a positive difference!
Your company can claim corporation tax
relief for gifting shares to ATD Fourth
World. If you have a dividend reinvestment
or sharesave scheme then there are other
benefits too.
Please note that you should always seek
advice from your tax adviser when donating
shares to a charity. The Inland Revenue
is the best starting point.
